my answer: "I am going to China"
Common Response:"oh really, for what program?"
my answer: "none....I am just going to travel"
Common Response: "Really what are your plans?"
"Well I am going to couch surf, practice my Chinese, and learn about Chinese culture"
Common Response: "Ah, so you don't have any"
~two weeks before i left for China I would regret my lack of planing, but only a little~
(my dad insisted that i check my flight date and time just to be safe, which i resisted strongly, insisting that i knew my plane left in two weeks at 11:30am. I owe it to him that i did not miss my flight, for unbeknownst to me it left the very next morning at 10am.)
