| The first white blase that I saw...it is the marker that you are on the right trail. They are placed about every 500 ft. |

| Some other animals on the AT besides us. Oh and not to mention the cow pasture that the AT literally goes right into in Vermont, which invoked a stare down on the cows part. I kept telling them that I was not going to hurt them, but I don't think they believed me. |
